A random selection of old family photos scanned from pre-digital prints. This collection was the outcome of some reminiscences on Facebook, firstly about Mothers’ Day, and then about childhood.

First National Bank: I joined Cassell Arenz & Co. Ltd, the merchant banking arm of First National Finance Corporation on 17th March 1969, and stayed with the group until 31st October 2002, when FNB was part of the Abbey Group, since swallowed up by Santander. This album represents a few scraps salvaged from those days.

Shortly after we moved to Hemel, Kent Brushes in Apsley decided that they no longer needed their factory chimney. This sequence of pictures was taken using a manual film wind-on.
